M.O.M. : Minutes Of the Month

Just a few moments ago, I have completed my month long stay in Gurgaon/Delhi. And the same question haunts me today, which used to do the rounds at the time when I was packing my bags for N.C.R. “Is it all worth it?” Well, now just the tense of the question has changed, essence being the same “Was it all worth it?”

The answer to this question is not a binary…it’s not 0 or 1. It’s a mixed feeling. At some fronts, yes, of course it was more than the worth. And at others, it wasn’t all that rewarding and as per the expectations. I won’t get into the details of the issues here to make this post more readable than it would be with those details. Besides, some reasons are too personal to be discussed on this forum!

For the people, the only tangible gain that I have got from this decision is an opportunity to go on an onsite deputation. This is a big leap, professionally. And somehow, I feel emancipated. So this will look like a short term transfer if I happen to fly by this month end or early June. I am watching…
